The Western Market is a four day event held during the Strathmore Stampede 

  • Limited space available for vendors - applications to open in 2024

  • If accepted, you will be sent a formal contract that must be returned by the given deadline.

  • Only accepted vendors will be contacted.

TYPES OF VENDORS ACCEPTED

  • Artisans/Makers - products made by owner and/or unique one-of-a-kind items

  • Packaged food & drink products (NO FOOD TRUCKS)

  • Vintage items, consignment, locally sourced or locally designed items

GENERAL INFORMATION

Hours of Operation

  • All vendors must be able to operate during the set hours of the Market

    • Friday - 11:00am to 10:00pm

    • Saturday - 11:00am to 10:00pm

    • Sunday - 11:00am to 10:00pm

    • Monday - 11:00am to 5:00pm

Bookings

  • Exhibitors must fill out an application form (located above - open in early 2024) to be considered. All application forms will be reviewed by our market coordinator and the Strathmore Stampede staff. If accepted, a formal contract will be sent to you.

Market Set-Up

  • The Thursday prior to Stampede.

  • The Indoor Market is located in the Remuda building

  • Outdoor Market vendors are placed at the discretion of the Strathmore & District Agricultural Society

Public Liability Insurance

  • Vendors must provide proof of at least $2,000,000 public liability insurance.

  • A copy of an insurance certificate, naming the Strathmore & District Agricultural Society as an insured third party. This must be sent with your signed agreement package.
