Little Rays Reptile Zoo

Their interactive and educational animal museum exhibits are fully staffed with zookeepers who are there to interact with, engage, and educate the public. The dynamic combination of themed exhibits, engaging presentations and educational interpretation cover conservation issues, facts about animals from around the world and the environment in which those animals live.

Make sure to find them in the green and white tent located behind the Freeman Audio Visual stage.

HERE IS OUR LIST OF ENTERTAINMENT FOR THE 2018 STRATHMORE STAMPEDE!

COUNTRY KAOS: The Country Kaos Dance Team is one of Canada's foremost country dance teams. They will be joining us Friday night at 7pm at our Family Friday to teach us how to line dance on our Freeman Audio Visual.

THE MAGIC OF AARON MATTHEWS: Aaron brings excitement and energy to all of his shows which are packed full of magic, card tricks, and balloon art! Find Aaron on the Freeman Audio Visual Heritage Stage on Friday at 1PM and 4PM, Saturday at 1:30PM, Sunday at 1:30PM and 3:30PM, and Monday at 1:30PM and 3:30PM! 

TC & COMPANY: For the past seven years, this five-member band has provided entertainment at the annual Cabaret on Saturday night. Expect classic covers all night long, as these folks guarantee a true country and western experience.

COLIN CHRISTOPHER: Colin Christopher is a keynote speaker, stage hypnotist and sought after authority in hypnosis appearing all over the world on networks like ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, ESPN, GLOBAL, CITY, CTV and many others. Catch Colin on the Freeman Audio Visual Heritage Stage on Friday at 2PM and 4:30PM, Saturday at 9PM for our headline act, Sunday at 2PM and 5PM, and Monday at 12:30PM and 5PM. 

INDIGO CIRCUS: Indigo Circus is a team of performers providing circus and fire entertainment for all ages. With over a decade of experience in the entertainment industry, Safire brings together a range of performers and unique acts to create one-of-a-kind custom packages for events. Check out these amazing performers on the Freeman Audio Visual Heritage Stage on Friday at 6PM, Saturday and Sunday at 1PM and 8:30PM, and Monday at 4PM.

TIM HOLLAND: A Master Ventriloquist, Tim Holland attempts death defying stunts while arguing with himself. You can try to see if his lips are moving, but you’ll probably miss something funny or amazing. You can find Tim Holland performing on the Freeman Audio Visual Heritage Stage on Friday at 12:30PM and 3:30PM, Saturday at 12PM, 3PM, and 6:30PM, Sunday at 12:30PM, 4:30PM, and 6:30PM, and Monday at 12PM and 2PM.

BEN CHASE: This country singer is a must see! At just 20 years old he has already accomplished some very impressive things such as: 2017 ACMA Male Artist of the Year Nominee,  performing at Ranchmans Cookhouse and Dancehall, 2017 Calgary Stampede Act, Opened for Major Country Acts, Sawyer Brown & Dan + Shay, played nearly 100 full shows with his band around Alberta in various Casinos, Bars, and Pubs. Catch Ben Chase performing at the Freeman Audio Visual Stage on August 4th at 4PM. Don't miss out!

CHRIS LEBLANC: With his electric bass or guitar in hand, Chris LeBlanc always puts on an electrifying live show and has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with many great Canadian and U.S. artists ranging from Julian Austin to Charlie Pride. His smooth, deep vocals and unique styling will instantly captivate you. Chris' baritone voice is often compared to that of Paul Brandt, George Canyon, Chris Young, and Josh Turner. You'll be itching to hear more! Comedy Juggler

Josh Casey is a juggler and comedian with a penchant for the ridiculous. Over the past 20 years Josh has traveled the country with his interactive comedy and juggling show, performing for all kinds of events.

Josh will be performing on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 1:30pm, 4:30pm and 7pm, and Monday at 1:30pm and 4:30pm. 

Kids Tractor Pull

This is without a doubt something you should have at your event year after year.   A tradition that kids and families look forward to. There is nothing funnier than seeing a kid pulling with all their might to the roar of the crowd.  

Consider a combo with either the MAGIC BEAN Agriculture Magic show, OR ALL ABOUT SCIENCE. With both their own unique mobile stage design the abilty to not only transport both shows but as well have the performer host both shows reduces your costs on travel and hotel

KIDS ARE PROVIDED WITH THE CUTEST LITTLE ANIMAL COSTUMES AND ARE UP ON THEIR FEET SINGING AND DANCING THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE PERFORMANCE. THEY ARE EACH GIVEN A CHANCE TO HAVE THEIR OWN TIME TO SHINE WITH A SOLO IN THE MICROPHONE! AT THE END OF THE SHOW THEY ARE ALL GIVEN A PRIZE TO TAKE HOME AND REMEMBER THEIR EXPERIENCE

SUPERDOGS!

Don't miss the SuperDogs at Strathmore Stampede!

Catch our fantastic four-legged friends 3 times a day on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! Make sure to stick around for the 'Pat and Chat' with the stars of the show and their trainers. SuperDogs performances will take place on the General Grounds, spectators will need to purchase grounds admission. (Please note that grounds entry is included with the purchase of a Rodeo or Chuckwagon ticket.)

Prism & Rock Bottom Concert - Friday, July 29

Canadian Rock Legends Prism are coming to the Strathmore Stampede this year! Prism has won two Juno Awards, Album & Group of the Year. They preform at 9:00pm on Friday, July 29. Rock Bottom is the opening act for Prism! Rock Bottom originated in Calgary, AB and are now a well known band that play covers from: Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Judas Priest, Whitesnake, and Great White. They take the stage at 8:30pm on Friday, July 29.

Meet the Entertainer

Lori Kole: Hailing from Manitoba, this small town country girl has been singing since she was six years old. She mixes both old and new classic country hits with a few of her own originals. Kole will perform at 6:00pm on Friday.

Marilyn Olsen (Hypnotist): Marilyn is a certified hypnotist who preforms a clean, fast paced and hilarious show. She preforms on our Heritage Stage at 9:00pm Friday night, 4:30pm & 9:00pm Saturday, and at 4:30pm Sunday.

DooDoo the Clown: For over 25 years DooDoo has been a favorite for families across the board. DooDoo plays at various festivals, fairs, trade shows and private events. DooDoo is well known by adults from the movie Billy Madison and known by kids from the Daniel Cooke Show on Treehouse. DooDoo will be at the Heritage Stage at 2:00pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Lonesome Dove: Lonesome Dove is a Alternative Country band that has a combination of Folk, Bluegrass, Rock & Roots music since 2012. They will be on our Heritage Stage at 9:00pm on Sunday evening.

Little Buckaroo's: The Little Buckaroo's are a fun family event where the kids participate in fun activities. Little Buckaroo's provide kids with courage, pride and self esteem, as well as lots of laughs and plenty of pictures. The Little Buckaroo's will be on the Heritage Stage at 11:30 am, 1:30pm & 3:30pm Friday, Saturday, Sunday and 11:30am, 1:30pm on Monday.

The Puppet Tamer: The Puppet Tamer, Tim Holland, convinces the audience of dangers in taming the ferocious and uncooperative puppets. This improvised on the spot comedy brings lots of laughs to the audience. The Puppet Tamer preforms at 12:30pm, 5:00pm and 8:00pm on Friday, 12:30pm, 2:30pm, 7:00pm on Saturday and Sunday, and 11:30am, 1:00pm on Monday
