Mutton Bustin' Registration Info
Mutton Bustin' Registration opens Monday, July 17, 2017, at 9am. Registration is first come first serve in office/in person only. No cost associated with registration. Children aged 4 to 6 at time of Stampede (birth dates between August 4, 2011 and August 4, 2013) are eligible and you must bring a copy of the child's birth certificate or passport at the time of registration. Guardian signature is required. No spot will be held or reserved without proper paperwork. There are only 30 registration spots available but any other applications received will be placed on a waiting list of up to 10 places, these applicants will be notified by telephone only if they have been accepted as a replacement. Children must weigh less than 65 lbs (pounds). Contestants must wear safety-approved helmets, long pants, long-sleeved shirt, and closed toed shoes. Gloves, protective equipment, and flak/safety vest are up to guardian discretion.
Mutton Bustin' occurs as part of the Rodeo performance and is not considered a singular event, full ticket price must be paid. For contestants of Mutton Bustin', two rush tickets are given per performance: one to the contestant and one to the guardian specified on the child's application form.
