Wild Pony Registration 2019

2019 Wild Pony Race Registration opens June 3rd, at 9am. Registration is in office/in person only. There are 8 team spots available, must have 3 members per team. There will be a registration fee of $10 per child. Children aged 8 to 12 at time of Stampede (birth dates between August 2, 2007 and August 2, 2011) are eligible and you must bring a copy of each child's birth certificate or passport at the time of registration. Guardian signature is required on form. Registration is first come first serve based on completed paperwork for all team members; teams will not be considered registered without three completed applications and no spots will be held. The Wild Pony Races will be held after the bulls during the rodeo. You can stop in the office at any time before registration opens to pick up the paperwork, but applications cannot be submitted until June 3rd, 2019.

Mutton Bustin' Registration 2019

2019 Registration opens May 27, 2019 at 9am. Registration is in office/in person only. Please line up outside of the office, each registrant will be called into the office one at a time. There are 24 spots available, 8 each on Fri, Sat and Sun during the Chuckwagon performance. There will be a registration fee of $10.00 per child. Children aged 4 to 6 at time of Stampede (birth dates between August 2, 2013 and August 2, 2015) are eligible and you must bring a copy of each child's birth certificate or passport at the time of registration. Guardian signature is required on form. Registration is first come first serve based on completed paperwork, no spots will be held.

2017 Strathmore Stampede

The three boys confidently walk through the prairies of Southern Alberta following each other's instincts like their ancestors before them. The line the young boys form signifies a trend upwards that stands for the growth of agriculture."

The Strathmore Stampede is the Strathmore & District Agricultural Society’s largest annual event. This community event has been happening each year since its commencement in 1966, bringing in fans from all over the world. Entertainment for the weekend includes the Rodeo, Chuckwagons, Running with the Bulls, stage & grounds entertainment, Tradeshow, beer gardens, concessions and a Creative Arts Show.
